About us
Mallory Root
Mallory opened Roots Brew Shop in 2016. She's worked in museums, at summer camps, and ridden a 1970s Merida bicycle across the country. She likes painting, camping, and traveling. She likes people more than coffee.
Kate Avery
Kate has a professional background in sales & marketing and heads up operations and outreach at Harmel Academy. She's made documentary films, sold craft beer, and managed budgets and staff. She likes swimming in Lake Michigan, cooking, and drives a stick shift.
Kate and Mallory are spearheading this mission, but it takes a community to build, sustain, and remain. Join us!
